VIT was established in 1984 as a self-financing institution called the Vellore Engineering College under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. VIT Chennai was established in 2010 by Dr. G. Viswanathan, a former parliamentarian and a profound minister in Tamil Nadu Government. Mr. Sankar Viswanathan, Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, and Dr. G.V. Selvam are the Vice Presidents of our institute.

About School of Advanced Science (SAS)

The School of Advanced Sciences comprises three departments, namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The school offers the following programmes: M.Sc. Data Science, M.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Chemistry. The school offers courses catering to B.Tech., M.Tech., MCA, Business, Fashion design and Law programmes. The curriculum is developed on par with international standards, keeping in mind the current industrial needs. It is supported by state-of-the-art laboratories to provide hands-on experience on theoretical concepts discussed in the classroom. The School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) at VIT Chennai, in prestigious collaboration with the Department of Applied Mathematics at Vidyasagar University, is proud to organize the International Conference on Graphs and Fuzzy Graphs (ICGFG-2026) in coordination with the Sridharacharya Academy of Mathematical Sciences (SAAMS). Publication of Papers

Accepted and presented papers will undergo peer review and will be considered for publication in a Scopus-indexed journal or book series. Details will be announced during the conference. Additional charges are applicable based on the publication platform.
